I love speaking to a live audience. As a volunteer I continue to make a limited number of speaking engagements each year.

I like having an opportunity to share our story because it’s a true story that happened to real people.

Together, through a gripping audio-visual presentation we’ll share a roller-coaster 286-day ride where you get to share in the toughest, the most mentally challenging, and yes, even the funniest days on road. You’ll sense first-hand what grit and perseverance are all about.

Along the way you will feel the daily challenges we encountered, and you’ll come to understand where inner strength and sheer determination come from.

I can share with you in all honesty that if I faced the same choice today, I would make the same decision—and again, quitting would not be an option.
