The Challenge
In April of 1998 it looked like the odds of my completing the Walk Across Canada were slim. I would have to walk across ten provinces and take more than ten-million steps. The route I had chosen was almost 9,000 kilometres.
I wasn’t an athlete. And—I was 52 years old.
But if I wanted to make a difference in the lives of all those boys just like our young son Jesse—this is what I had to do.
Once I was committed to this massive challenge there would be no looking back.
Provinces
Kilometres
Steps

And so the journey began….
The first thing I need to share with you is ……why?
